Snapseed, remove photographer by Double Exposure

The original idea came from, with thanks, Itai Nadav in his post.  I just copy cat with fisheyes JPG and English display.

Please prepare 2 photos mount taken with photogtapher stands at different position.

We will use Snapseed's Double Exposure, follow by the latter's Undo with Brush.

Then Snapseed's HDR is applied to the fisheyes.

Finally, stitched with Misphere Converter.  By this process, the stitch line usually after HDR (differece in exposure, etc, across the border of a stitched flat pano after drastic editing) will be damped down.

However, the process does not remove/ mask the base image completely and leaves a ghostly shadow if it is too contrasting.  Use with care.

Videos - Add nadir mirror balls to 360 photos

I posted how to play with nadir of 360 photos, including adding mirror ball using Android Photo Editor (Macgyver).

Photo Editor updated version can colour the add image used in the process.  So I made new videos for you to share the fun.


You need the Photo Editor Apps to complete all process.  Well, any photo editors with similar functions shall do too.

1)  Make nadir mirror ball

2) Colour the ball- exposure/ saturaton/ contrast/ tint, etc.

3) Varitions

Overlay itself to improve bright sky dark ground

(You need Android Photo Editor (Macgyver) to follow the steps, see my earlier blogs on how to use)

Original dark photo (removed nadir and purple fringes)

Added same photo on top, screen mode.

Repeat to get a brighter image

Repeat again to get brightest image

Step 2, Edit> Overlay, choose different brightness photos for different zones

Use the mid bright photo as the base, overlays the entire upper part with the darkest photo, the in-photo-border must be soft whereas the image border should be hard or stitch line will show - simply extend the soft borders beyond tge image borders.

Then, overlay using brush tool, to adjust or enhance different spots: 

Lastly, use Edit> Colour, brush tool, to raise the darkest area, indicated in yellow above.

This is the end product.

Patch Lines and Tiled Shape in 360 Photos with Photo Editor (Android, Macgyver)

We are still showing Android Apps Photo Editor (Macgyver) function applicable to patching 360 photo of nadir or the photographer.  The case here is the area contain shapes/tiles/ lines/ borders needed to be restored but, owing to the distortion of flat 360 photos, there is hardly areas at correct angle and shade to Clone naturally.

The function used on the Photo Editor Apps is "Free cropping" and "Add image"

I have the following:

- a 360 photo generaly patched away photographer and shadow of selfie stick by rough cloning.

1. Choose the Crop (free) function, use brush tool to paint the required area, make sure the border is soft.

Use Undo and Eraser to adjust.

***Save the crop as PNG to retain Transparency

***Do not exit***.  Use UNDO to return to full image.

2. Add the Crop

Position it at correct size, ratio, angle.  Zoom in/ out base photo,

Use Move function to fine adjust.

Use Layer> Duplicate (select which layer first) to apply same layer.

Lock down earlier layer before adjust new layer.

Done.

3. Here I clone and patched the front shadow

4.  Repeat process on the white line.

5.  Repeat process on the stone wall .

Done.

6. save the image or share it to Theta Converter Pro to adjust level wmd heading.

NB

For patching nadir, suggested to roll it to the middle and rotate to show as much straight lines as posible before further working on it.
